Balatonlelle Free Beach
Balatonlelle uniquely boasts more than four kilometers of free beachfront. In addition to several smaller free beaches, the 1.8-kilometer-long Balatonlelle Free Beach in the city center, west of the boat station, awaits water enthusiasts. The shallow, gradually deepening lakeshore is popular among families with small children. The entire area of the beach is covered with beautifully maintained grass, sometimes up to a hundred meters wide.

Within 400-500 meters from the eastern (main) entrance of the beach, there is a train station and a bus stop, making it excellently accessible by public transport. The free beach can be easily reached along its entire length, from the direction of Móló promenade, as well as through streets and alleys opening from Napsugár and Honvéd streets. For beach-going guests, there are three larger capacity parking lots on Móló promenade, and parking is also provided in Napsugár and Honvéd streets. Parking is free throughout the town!
The entire area of the beach is accessible to visitors all year round. The official opening hours (during which the lifeguard service is available): 2024.07.01-08.25. daily: 10:00-20:00
Dogs are not allowed inside the beach area!
