Napfény Beach and Waterpark is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the town. It is located in the centre, on the eastern side of the harbour. In 2008 the beach was transformed into a sandy beach made of sand scooped from the lake bed creating a seaside atmosphere and a paradise for families with small children. The shallow, slowly deepening water is safe for the little ones to swim in. The silky sand has become a paradise for sandcastle builders.
It also houses the waterpark, which currently has three pools and a sauna house.
The children's and adults’ adventure pools with beautiful mosaic tiles also have adventure elements. They are equipped with slides, whirlpools, neck jets and massage walls. There is a sunbathing terrace and a 4-lane wave slide next to the adults’ pool, which has the shape of a figure 8. There is a lazy river in one of its rings.
There is a cave-like part of the lazy river which is created by the construction of a vault supporting the slides and provides an additional experience. A massage wall has been placed on the inner half of the other ring of figure 8 and the island created has four types of neck jets. Between the massage wall and the neck jets a constant whirlpool is provided by air jets built into the floor.
The pool has a surface of 160.54 m2, a volume of 176.6 m3 and a constant depth of 110 cm.
The latest addition to the facility is a three-lane giant wave slide, which has been a huge success for years.
Several sports fields were built from the sand of Lake Balaton: beach football, beach volleyball.
